NDIS Services

Moree Care can help you to apply to the NDIS if you have a disability.
We provide a wide range of services including (subject to your NDIS Plan):
Aged Care
The Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) assists older people to live independently in their homes and communities. For more information go to the My Aged Care website: www.myagedcare.gov.au
Moree Care staff can help you obtain My Aged Care referrals for access to our CHSP funded aged care services:
Meals on Wheels
Freshly prepared meals delivered Monday – Friday (frozen meals for weekends.)
For seniors or people with an NDIS Plan we can also help with:
Community Transport
Transport for everyone living in our regional and remote community, for individuals or groups.
Individuals:
We may also fund hired buses or public transport for:
Who Can Apply
Eligible people assessed as needing a service will have access to Moree Care services without discrimination on the grounds of gender, ethnicity, language, marital status, religion, sexual preference or type of disability.
Who Can Refer/Access to Services/Call us on 1300 593 113
Self, Friend, Family, Doctor, Hospital, Community and Social Worker, Other Community Services.
When your call/referral is received, one of our friendly staff will make an appointment for you to come to our office or to visit you in your home. We will complete an assessment form to determine your eligibility for our services. We will help you access any government assessment and funding available for your services.
Client contributions/costs
Most government funded aged and disability services now require a client contribution. For more information regarding costs please contact our Moree office on 1300 593 113 or info@moreecare.org.au
Volunteers
Moree Care enjoys the assistance of a dedicated team of community volunteers.
Volunteers may participate in a variety of ways depending on the volunteers preferences: driving for Community Transport, cooking for Day Centre morning teas or special events, in-door or out-door social activity, client shopping assistance, social outings and meal deliveries. If you would like to volunteer some of your time to any of the services we would love to hear from you.

Moree Care can help you to apply to the NDIS if you have a disability.
We provide a wide range of services including (subject to your NDIS Plan):
- social activities in our day centre and in the community
- trips to other towns for movies, bowling and other fun activities
- transport for medical, social and community access
- meals in-home or at our day centre
- assistance with finding a job or training
- assistance with finding accommodation
- domestic assistance and yard maintenance
- personal care assistance
- assistance with shopping and cooking at home
- Plan Management – for those that need budget and financial support in managing their Plan
- Coordination of Support to help you implement your plan and to get the services you need
- short term overnight care in our 2 bedroom flat for respite or when carers need to go away (approval pending)

- social and community activities for individuals or groups in our day centre or for community outings
- day time or overnight respite care - we assist carers by providing day or overnight respite, either in-home, or, in our 2-bedroom flat (flexible respite)
- domestic assistance
- meals on wheels and other food related services
- home and yard maintenance

- menu planning
- budgeting
- individual accompanied shopping
- café/restaurant outings
- meal preparation at home
Community Transport

- medical appointments
- social, recreational and community access
- taxi or fuel vouchers
- click and collect grocery deliveries
- accompanied indiviual shopping trips or on our weekly shopping bus
We may also fund hired buses or public transport for:
- attending funerals in distant locations
- sporting activities
- community events
